About Operation Clean Cut
Operation Clean Cut is a tax-exempt nonprofit organization founded by Andrew and Crystal Cahill, professional barbers, parents, and military veterans with a shared passion for serving others and giving back to the community. Andrew is a Marine Veteran, and Crystal is an Army Veteran. Together, they created Operation Clean Cut based on the belief that a simple haircut can restore confidence, dignity, and self-worth.
Operation Clean Cut provides free haircuts and grooming services for Veterans and First Responders each month out of The Commons Barbershop in Fairfax City, Virginia, creating a welcoming, professional, and dignified experience at no cost. What began as a way to thank you for their service, has grown into a broader mission of helping anyone facing hardship feel valued, respected, and cared for.
Our mission is to restore confidence, promote self-respect, and strengthen community connections by ensuring that everyone has access to quality grooming services, regardless of their circumstances. We proudly honor the service and sacrifices of our Veterans and First Responders while extending our support to individuals facing financial hardship or other challenges.
As we continue to grow, we are committed to expanding our impact through community partnerships, online donations, and additional service locations. Through our events and outreach efforts, we keep Veterans, First Responders, and community members informed about upcoming haircut events and opportunities to receive support.
